The Commission is proposing an amendment to the food safety criteria for Listeria monocytogenes in Regulation (EC) 2073/2005 on Microbiological Criteria for Foodstuffs and will be discussing this at the next Commission microbiological working group meeting.
Food Standards Scotland and the Food Standards Agency are exploring the impact of the proposed amendment particularly on SME/Micro businesses, and the attached letter and questionnaire aims to gather information from stakeholders affected.
